Carpenter Place is one of the most unique children’s homes in the nation. Carpenter Place has been helping children and families in crisis for over 70 years. Currently, this organization works specifically with struggling girls and their families. Their Christian Family Program and Christian Learning Center are designed to help girls ages 11 to 18 who are battling with an array of hurts. By providing a Christian home environment, each girl is seen as a valuable child of God’s kingdom. Carpenter Place’s loving house parents and trained staff help them learn to overcome devastating situations and not only survive but thrive! In addition, they place special importance on working with the entire family to help children return to a healthier environment.Â
